Following the official launch of the Adopt-a-Police Station initiative by His Excellency the President of the Republic of Botswana Dr. Mokgweetsi E.K. Masisi on 18 July 2024 in Gaborone where business entities were encouraged to partner with various police stations across the country and help improve their facilities, BBS Bank is pleased to announce that it has adopted Botshabelo Police Station in Selibe Phikwe.
The Commissioner of Police Ms. Dinah Marathe, who initiated the idea, commended the business community for embracing the invitation to help the 82 police stations and 412 Police Posts spread across the country.
BBS Bank, through its Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, looks forward to a long term and sustainable relationship with Botshabelo Police Station. The bank will engage with the leadership of Botshabelo Police Station soon to understand their needs, share collaborative ideas and produce a mutually endorsed implementation plan.
